Sony Ericsson’s Android-based mobile phone leaked online today, codenamed as Sony Ericsson Rachael, and it’s going to be the next member of Xperia premium lineup while bringing top of the line features and functionality. Sony Ericsson is the 3rd manufacturer to join the Android-bandwagon, right after HTC and Samsung with their own devices. But with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Rachael, seems like SE will surpass and lead the way easily.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Rachael is powered by the Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon platform which will provide a 1GHz CPU and a dedicated graphics acceleration. All of today’s-must-have connectivity options are packed inside including Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G-HSDPA.
The best part of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Rachael might be the touchscreen, it’s as huge as 4-inch with WVGA 800×480 pixel resolutions. And also, this phone is armed with 8 megapixel auto-focus camera, a 3.5mm audio jack and a standard miniUSB port.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Rachael is scheduled to be officially announced later this year. Still no info on pricing or availability date.
